Sync form responses into monday.com boards
Beyond embedding, the app can copy Google Form responses into a monday.com board automatically.
An admin connects a Google account once. The app then reads the structure of the forms they choose to sync — the list of questions and their types — so each question can be mapped to a monday.com board column. When someone submits the form, the app reads the new response and creates or updates an item on the mapped board, with each answer placed in its mapped column.
Sync is one-way: Google Forms into monday.com. The app never creates, edits or deletes a form, a question, or a response in Google.
The admin can disconnect the Google account at any time from the app, which immediately stops all syncing.
How we use Google data
To sync responses, the app requests read-only access to Google:
| Permission | What it is used for |
|---|---|
View your Google Forms (forms.body.readonly) | Read the questions in the forms you choose to sync, so they can be mapped to board columns |
View your Google Forms responses (forms.responses.readonly) | Read new form submissions so they can be copied into your monday.com board |
Email address and basic profile (openid, email, profile) | Show which Google account is connected, so you can confirm or disconnect it |
Every permission is read-only. The app cannot modify anything in your Google account.
Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. This data is never used to create, train or improve any AI or machine-learning model.
See our Privacy Policy for how this data is stored, retained and deleted.
