Automatically sync your Google Calendar meetings into monday.com and classify them by type — using keyword rules or AI — so your team sees exactly how time is being spent, without manual data entry.
What the app does
- Connects to a user’s Google Calendar with read-only access
- Reads upcoming and recent calendar events
- Creates or updates corresponding items on a monday.com board for each event
- Classifies each synced item (e.g. “Sales”, “Support”, “Interview”) using keyword
- rules or AI on the Pro plan
- Lets users manually correct a misclassified item directly from the monday.com dashboard
Data we access
Calendar Event Classifier requests a single Google OAuth scope: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.readonly. This is used exclusively to read the titles, times, locations, and attendees of a user’s calendar events, in order to create and classify corresponding items on their monday.com board. The app never modifies, deletes, or writes anything back to the user’s Google Calendar.
Where the app runs
Calendar Event Classifier runs as a Board View inside monday.com. It has no separate public sign-up flow — it’s installed and used entirely within a user’s existing monday.com account.
