Overview

Workspace Admin Toolkit helps workspace and account admins efficiently manage multiple boards by running bulk operations, validating board structure, and monitoring workspace health — all directly inside monday.com.

The app runs entirely within monday.com using the official monday SDK and APIs. No external authentication or database is required.

Board View

Adding Workspace Admin Toolkit to Your Board View

  1. Install the Workspace Admin Toolkit app from the monday.com Marketplace.
  2. Navigate to any board.
  3. Click Add View.
  4. Search for Workspace Admin Toolkit.
  5. Select the app.
  6. The Workspace Admin Toolkit interface will open inside the board.
  7. Select boards (if required).
  8. Configure your bulk operation.
  9. Click Preview to validate.
  10. Click Execute Operation to apply changes.

What you can do in Board View:

  • Run bulk column operations (add, rename, delete columns)
  • Copy board structure from one board to multiple boards
  • Select multiple boards and preview changes before execution
  • View per-board success and failure results

How to Use Operation Reference Link

After executing any bulk operation, the app records the action in Operation History.

  1. Open the Workspace Admin Toolkit.
  2. Scroll to Operation History.
  3. Locate the desired operation (e.g., add – column).
  4. Use the timestamp and operation name to identify it.
  5. Click Export CSV if you need to share the operation details.
  6. Share the exported file or board reference link with authorized admins.

Dashboard View

Adding Workspace Admin Toolkit as a Dashboard Widget

  1. Navigate to your monday.com Dashboard.
  2. Click Add Widget.
  3. Select Apps.
  4. Search for Workspace Admin Toolkit.
  5. Add the widget.
  6. Configure workspace selection.
  7. Save changes.

How to Use Dashboard Link

  1. Open the Dashboard widget.
  2. Review the latest operation summary.
  3. Copy the dashboard URL from your browser.
  4. Share it with Workspace or Account Admins for review..
  5. Save changes.

Copy Structure Link Usage

When using the Copy Structure feature:

  1. Select a source board.
  2. Select target boards.
  3. Preview structure.
  4. Execute copy. or Account Admins for review..
  5. Save changes.

To document or share this action:

  • Go to Operation History.
    Export the execution report via CSV.
    Share internally for compliance tracking.

Important Notes About Links

  1. Links only work for users with proper admin permissions.
  2. Users must have access to the selected boards.
  3. If permission is missing, the operation may fail.
  4. The app does not expose data to unauthorized users.
